Dance LA, Volume III
My Dance LA series continues! Thanks to my beautiful friend Nicole for being so generous with her ballet talents.

Paris for Thanksgiving
I'm back! It's been over a year since I've updated this site, but I'm finally getting (at least this blog) back up and running.
Here is a longer post highlighting my week-long trip to Paris over Thanksgiving. A warm thank you to our friends Liz, Greg, Myla, and Ava for hosting us. It was overcast and rainy (although it never got above a drizzle) the whole week, which was a wonderful break from the typical Los Angeles sun. I finally got to enjoy the sweater weather I crave every fall.
My favorite activities were seeing The Water Lilies by Monet at l'Orangerie, eating charcuterie, lots of wine, The Little Red Door cocktail bar, and shopping for our entire Thanksgiving dinner at an outdoor market. The most memorable was the date Josiah planned months ago at the famous restaurant l'Arpège for a 14 course vegetable based lunch by head chef and owner Alain Passard (undoubtedly some of the most unique and tasty food I've ever had). And I am most thankful for piecing together our American Thanksgiving Dinner for Thursday night.
